Didatta attiva sul territorio nazionale, Esperta in Vocologia Artistica e EMT Estill Voce Training è spesso relatrice in Convegni sulla Voce Artistica e docente in Corsi di formazione per docenti di canto.
Il suo repertorio spazia dalla song del 900 di tradizione americana al jazz d’avanguardia e all’improvvisazione radicale.
E’ titolare della Cattedra di Canto jazz al Conservatorio N.Piccinni di Bari.

Gianna Montecalvo, graduated in piano, opera singing, jazz music, she obtained the II level academic phd bachelors diploma in jazz music with top marks and also honors by discussing the graduation thesis ‘The voice between science and art’, a work that contains her thoughts and researches on teaching singing.
Active teacher on the national territory, expert in Artistic Vocology and EMT Estill Voce Training, she is often speaker at conferences on Artistic Voice and teacher in training courses for singing teachers.
Her repertoire ranges from traditional American 20th century songs to avant-garde jazz and radical improvisation.
She holds the Chair of Jazz Singing at the N. Piccinni Conservatory in Bari.
